Step One: Listing Walk-Through
Our first meeting, led by Madison, was magical. Seeing our lovely home through her eyes was inspiring and invoked memories of our years there. Madison gave us a list of suggestions for adjustments based on her experience with first impressions that balanced impact with investment. Sasha Tripp put her voice in the room with a solid market analysis of our property, gisting a plan for near-future listing.
Step Two: Pricing Recommendations
Our timeline had several months so we completed the adjustments at our contractor’s pace and Madison gently kept in touch. Our interactions with Madison increased near our target listing date. Sasha re-did the analysis; made great pricing recommendations and we were more than ready to list and show our home.
Step Three: Marketing
We heard great things from friends and neighbors about our open house and were wowed by Brentney’s social media pre-release video of her walkthrough. We were excited to review comments from prospects a couple of days later. Offers were evaluated and Sasha and Madison made great suggestions of what to consider in the negotiation period, which led us to an acceptance!
SHRE makes exceptional use of enabling technology. They have an excellent photographer who included drone aerial photos of our property. They engaged us with e-mail, constant but not excessive mobile contact, and easy-to-use mobile/web apps targeted to specific process steps. It’s clear that Story House Real Estate has built their business based on learning from each experience and integrating many lessons learned from what is certainly a unique process for nearly each sale. They share information as needed, which we felt was great at helping us manage our expectations (and stress.) From a project management perspective, they are awesome!
Step Four: Closing!
The baton was passed to Ann to manage the entirety of the end-game process. Ann communicates exceptionally. She provides carefully curated messages aligned with each of the many process steps including prep for the home inspection, how the appraisal process works, preparing for moving day, and pretty much anticipated all of our questions in advance. She and Sasha deftly guided us thru inspection and post-inspection tasks thru and past closing.
