Local Highlight: Carter’s Mountain Orchard

As the leaves start changing, we start thinking about Fall – cozy sweaters, nights by the fire, warm apple cider, and more. We’ve got a lot of local goodness around here but one of our favorite ways to start a this seasons is to head to Carter’s Mountain pick our own apples, grab a delicious warm donut, catch a little bit of the sunset then head home with our bounty and figure out what we are going to do with the ten pounds of apples, we inadvertently bought because PICKING them was just so much fun!

There’s more to do than ever on the mountain these days with the Bold Rock Cellar, live music, Prince Michel wine, the ever popular donuts and more.
