Where were you living prior to Charlottesville, and how did you begin your house hunting process?

We were both living in Northern VA prior to moving to Charlottesville. Ray attended medical school here at UVA, and we previously rented a place in the Cherry Hill subdivision before buying our first home together! We began the house-hunting process by calling Errin–it was our first home-buying experience and we needed lots of guidance.

What made you choose Charlottesville?

Ray went to med school at UVA, so it sort of chose us!

How did you discover the neighborhood (where you eventually ended up buying), and what do you love about it?

We discovered this neighborhood through working with Errin and The Sasha Farmer Team. We love the proximity of the neighborhood to Ray’s work–the hospital–as well as the downtown area.

What was your experience like working with the Sasha Farmer Team?
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Every person that we worked with on the Team–especially Errin–was so helpful and quick to respond. If we ever had any questions or wanted to learn (this was our first homebuying experience!), Errin was always open and ready to help. They took such great care of us throughout the whole process.

What was your journey like buying/selling your home?

Altogether stressful, overwhelming, but exciting. Thankfully, The Sasha Farmer Team made the process as smooth as possible.

What was the most stressful part of the real estate process?
All of the paperwork we needed to submit in order to secure the bank loan.

What was the best part of your real estate process?

Going around town to see and learn about different houses, as well as finally closing on our home! Additionally, the level care that we received–and continue to get–from The Sasha Farmer Team.
