Garden Club of Virginia Historic Garden Week 2019

It might still be quite brisk outside, but the sun is shining again and we are getting excited about Historic Garden Week 2019.  It might not start until April, but you have to start thinking about your garden well before that.  What kind of plants are in your garden?  Are you more concerned about a garden overflowing with vegetables and herbs, or perennials and gorgeous flowers?  Maybe a mix of both?  During Historic Garden week you can see over 250 gorgeous gardens and homes throughout the state of Virginia.  While touring these locations, you are also helping provide funds for the restoration and preservation of more than 40 of Virginia’s historic public gardens.
