The Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors has just released it’s third quarter market report- take a look for more insight about what is going on with real estate sales in your area! Many of the indicators point to an inventory level that is too low (meaning, if you’ve been considering selling your home for a while- let’s chat and see if this might be a good time!) and that homes are selling a few days faster than this time last year. We are also finally beginning to see a bit more uptick in some of the surrounding counties, whereas much of the improvement in previous years sales had been centered just on Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville. The list price to sales price ration of roughly 95% stayed relatively consistent, just with more sales occurring this year than in the same quarter last year.
