Charlottesville 365; The Ashlawn-Highland Annual WineFest, May 22 and May 23
Ash Lawn-Highland’s 16th annual WineFest is this weekend, spanning Saturday and Sunday, May 22 and 23 at the home of President James Monroe. This is a fun festival out in the sun and features some of Virginia’s best local wineries, drawing fans from all across Central Virginia.
Something that makes this wine festival especially unique is the house tour of Ashlawn with knowledgeable Ashlawn Guides. If you’ve been meaning to take a trip to Ashlawn, this is a great opportunity! This year also features live music by the local Rock River Gypsies, so it’s sure to be a fun event.
The Festival is held rain or shine, with cover at the Hilltop Pavilion and in tents from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The Festival’s wine samplings can be paired on the spot with a variety of food by Culinary Expressions and other vendors.
