Team Member Spotlight | Meet Madison

My name is Madison Young and I am Sasha Tripp’s Listing Partner! Like all of us at Story House, my overall purpose is to take care of our clients always in all ways. Unique to my role, I work with our seller clients specifically between the stages of the initial meeting and when their home goes under contract – doing my due diligence to gather and prepare all home information, coordinate any pre-listing repairs, schedule the photoshoot, oversee showings, prepare and manage the listing, work with our in-house marketing coordinator to help market the home, as well as be each client’s main point of contact throughout the pre-listing and listing process.

My big thing is communication; I always say, I aim to treat each client like I would like to be treated if I were selling my home. With this constantly in mind, I perform frequent check-ins as well as loop the client in to every step of the process so they are fully informed as to how their home is being absorbed in the market – both in person and online – and feel taken care of every step of the way.

I absolutely adore my role because it involves helping people navigate what can be a very exciting but sometimes overwhelming process, and getting inspired on a daily basis – both with the clients and co-workers I work with as well as the homes we associate with. I come home every day feeling completely fulfilled either from a conversation I had with a client or co-worker, or from falling in love with the interior design of a home I visited that day.

Outside of work I like to think of myself as an ever-moving Rubik’s Cube with each color being a different interest. I’m constantly seeking adventure and new things to try! You can find me cruising on my motorcycle up on the Blue Ridge Parkway, experimenting with a new dinner or bread-baking recipe, strumming my mandolin alongside friends at an evening bonfire, and/or tending to my indoor bonsai trees! Every day is a good day and made even better with adventure, wonderful people, and in the Greater Charlottesville Area we call home!
